My faith story: My spiritual
pilgrimage is one of seeking God°s voice. I love
the study of hearing God°s voice and coming alongside
of others in their pilgrimage to encourage them.
I am specifically drawn to ministering to married
couples.
What brought me to UCUMC: Our
family made a transition here from New England
through the leadership of Dr. Burrell Dinkins.
I was excited to have the possibility to work
together with my husband, and our team approach,
along with the rest of the staff, is really refreshing.
What I like most about my ministry here:
That I get to do pieces of all the things I love.
The variety of adult discipleship allows me to
use my creativity.
What°s my greatest challenge: I
have big-picture ideas for adult ministry that
makes getting from żhereî to żthereî a process
of patience.
What°s in your iPod: The Joy
of Listening to God by Joyce Huggett, books by
Jill Briscoe; and I love to watch American Idol.
What do I like most to do on my day off: Go to the beach with my family.
Three words I°d use to describe yourself: happy
wife and mother, encourager
Family info: Great husband
of 12 years, 2 joyous and energetic children
