My faith story: Salvation for me has been an ongoing process of recognizing my need for Jesus at the age of 9 years old and giving my life to him, witnessing his power in the life of our church at 15 and falling in love with him in a real way at the age of 20. Since then my relationship has been one of continuing to grow in depth of knowledge and passionate love.
What brought me to UCUMC: A
buddy called me and asked me to interview for
the position at Wesley.ÚThe rest is history.
What I like most about my ministry here: love
working with a group of people who are passionate.ÚThey
are passionate about life and passionate about
having fun!!
What¡s my greatest challenge: Let's be honest....we love college students but they are prone to be a little lazy and non-committal.ÚÚ
What¡s in your iPod: For worship I am mainly listening to "Throneroom Worship."ÚOther than that...a little MuteMath, Marc Broussard, Ben Harper and Brad Paisley.ÚBooks this month are Kingdom Come by Alan Wakabayashi and Leadership and Self Deception by the Arbinger Institute.
What do I like most to do on my day off: I love to hang out with the family and when time affords it, I like to hit the links or do a little bass fishing.ÚAlso, during the fall on Saturdays make sure you don't call or come by the house when the Georgia Bulldogs are playing...I won't be overly sociable.
Three words I¡d use to describe yourself: driven, passionate, and cute (according to my wife!)
Family info: I have been married to my wife Randel since August 25, 2001.ÚWe have two crazy and wonderful little girls Anna Katherine (3) and Sara (2)
