My faith story: My spiritual
pilgrimage started at the age of 9 when I was
baptized in the Baptist church. My faith journey
continued for many years but I did not become
completely immersed in my relationship with my
Lord until 15 years ago. I now feel called to
be in ministry full time.
What brought me to UCUMC: My
husband Steve¡s job change to the Orlando area
and shopping for a new church home is what brought
us to try UCUMC initially; but the friendly smiles
and warm welcome we received made us want to
stay. We have been here 9 years.
What I like most about my ministry here: What
I like most about the ministry I work in are
the people I get to meet and spend time with
on a daily basis.
What¡s my greatest challenge: Not
being able to spend more time with more people.
What¡s in your iPod: The best
thing I¡ve read lately is The Meaning of Prayer
What do I like most to do on my day
off: Play with my grandchildren, read,
and go to the beach.
Three words I¡d use to describe yourself: people-person,
listener and helper
