My faith story: I grew up in a Christian home. In 1989 while working at Tuskawilla UMC I attended a Christian Women’s Club Meeting. The speaker asked us to pray with her if we wanted to invite Jesus into our lives. I didn’t know why I was actually praying it but I did and at that moment, Jesus took control of my life and it has not been the same since!
What brought me to UCUMC: God did through my good friend Polly Watson! He tried once before but it did not work out. He did not give up!
What I like most about my ministry here: The children and the opportunity to plan programs so that they can learn at an early age what it took me 25 years to know!
What's my greatest challenge: Getting enough people to fill the important “mission” of teaching and mentoring children.
What's in your iPod: The sound track to Mama Mia and The Eagles
What do I like most to do on my day off: Volunteer at the Ten Thousand Villages store, work in my gardens, have lunch with friends or SHOP!!
Three words I'd use to describe yourself: Creative, organized and flexible
Family info: Married for 35 years. Two married children. 3 “granddogs”!!
