My faith story: Personally accepted Christ and baptized at age 7; throughout life have attended Baptist, Church of God, Assembly of God, Non-denominational, and Methodist congregations; am full of gratefulness and joy at the mercy and grace of Christ°s workings in my life, my family, and friends.

What brought me to UCUMC: Moved to area and looked for quite awhile for a church to call home; this immediately felt like home.

What I like most about my ministry here: Seeing how the Holy Spirit works throughout the congregation; seeing God°s hand and grace in everything we pray to do; seeing God°s love for us in answered and unanswered prayers

What°s my greatest challenge: Same as everyone elseÜBalance between family and ministry!

What°s in your iPod: Recently, an article on a family that radically changed the way they livedÜfather changed career, bought a farm, and the family works side-by-side each day. This allows them to intentionally schedule and celebrate spiritual moments and scripture reading throughout their days and evenings. It was very inspiring.

What do I like most to do on my day off: Spending time with my husband and children and just enjoying each other°s company.

Three words I°d use to describe yourself: contemplative, Jesus-seeking, people-lover (sounds like the flying purple people eater song)
