My faith story: Growing up
in a Christ-friendly home got me started right;
in high school I was strongly influenced by a
good Campus Life Club (a ministry of Youth for
Christ); by college I learned that only partnership
with the Holy Spirit could result in my being
able to live the Christian life successfully.
I married a man who is unswervingly focused on
following God, and have been privileged to work
in several great churches.
What brought me to UCUMC: When
we moved to Florida in 2000, God provided a job
that fit my abilities but not my passions. That
changed in 2003 when I was invited to join the
staff of UCUMC.
What I like most about my ministry here: The variety. I get to be involved in something new all the time.
WhatÕs my greatest challenge: Managing the variety!!
WhatÕs in your iPod: The book Kuboria by William Vitanyi, Jr.
What do I like most to do on my day off: IÕm a movie fan; I love to do crossword puzzles and read; I donÕt love it, but I run.
Three words IÕd use to describe yourself: musical, lost-in-thought, steady
Family info: Husband, Daryl; daughter Dawn; son Andrew (married to Emily, whoÕs the mom of my granddaughter, Ailey); daughter Emily.
