This ministry area encompasses all of those persons who love the creative
arts and want to use their gifts in ministry. If you have interest
in drama, dance, visual art, lighting, sound, multi-media production, graphic
arts,
staging or anything related to arts and worship, there's a place
for you in this growing ministry.
Media Arts Ministry
• Administrative helpers—update and print the worship planning
forms; confirm the weekend schedule (Wednesdays)
• Announcements —create the announcements and keep the "between
service" announcements updated and current (work in PowerPoint; Tuesday
afternoons)
• Persons to help "build" the weekend services in SongShow
(Wednesday morning; training provided)
• Proofers (work in SongShow; training provided; Thursday morning)
• Persons to build SongShow files for special events such as holidays,
funerals, etc. (as needed; training provided)
• Persons to build the sermon slides, working in PowerPoint (Thursday
afternoons; training provided)
• Camera teams and film editors to create dramas, on-the-street interviews,
evangelism projects, etc., and to run live feeds when applicable.
• Lighting and stage personnel
• Worship planning team(creative and innovative people to help plan
and implement ideas for worship and other events).

Help needed:
~ Lights: Work the board for Sunday Morning Worship once
a month. Training provided.
~ Media Tech: someone computer savvy to run computer during
Saturday Worship once every three or four weeks. Training provided.
For all who wish to more fully partner with Jesus Christ,
UCUMC offers many practical areas in which to share your gifts
and talents. Our goal is to work with each person to find the best
area for their
service.
We encourage people to try different areas before deciding on a long-term
service area. The volunteer ministry is your doorway to service.
