Members of this vital ministry use their gifts and talents
to serves the church in a variety of ways including weekday front desk
reception, newsletter and bulletin preparation, filing, phone calls and

Communications
• Writers to help compose and key in articles for the weekly bulletin
and monthly newsletter (working in Word).
• Printer—persons to help print out the weekly bulletin (Thursday
evening) and/or newsletter (one evening per month), using the office equipment
(knowledge of InDesign preferred; training provided).
• Creative persons to help design, produce and handle advertising,
promotional materials and mailings.
For all who wish to more fully partner with Jesus Christ, UCUMC offers
many practical areas in which to share your gifts and talents. Our goal
is to work with each person to find the best area for their service.
We encourage people to try different areas before deciding on a long-term
service area. The volunteer ministry is your doorway to service.
