Launch in HOSPITALITY

The Hospitality Ministry at UCUMC is a vital part of the church. It includes ushers, greeters, “parking angels” and people who help set up refreshments on  weekends. All of these areas work together to create an atmosphere of welcome and friendship for everyone who visits. Come be a part of this fantastic team! It doesn’t matter how long you’ve been here. This is a wonderful way to meet people and make new friends while serving!

Ushers and Greeters
A great way to “get your feet wet” in serving at the church! Greeters welcome people as they arrive; ushers volunteer at each service to show people to their seats, pass out bulletins and perform other duties during the worship services. one service (when you usually attend), once a month

Reception TEAM
We provide refreshments that are served each weekend on the porch and between the buildings. Volunteers keep the coffee, water, and lemonade flowing, in addition to setting up and clean up.

Welcome Cart TEAM
Members of this team greet visitors and answer questions visitors have before or after the worship service at our Welcome Cart on the porch.

Parking Angels
