FYI

TIME they are a' CHANGIN'
Why didn’t we think of this before? After several years of exploring options to open up space in “prime time” for contemporary worship, we realized that our Easter schedule offered a great alternative—as well as an option that spread the change over all Sunday services. Last month our Leadership Council considered this issue and voted to move ahead with a permanent change in service times.
(To see the full details ...)
Starting June 1, Sunday services will be:

9:00 (traditional)
10:15 (contemporary)
11:30 (contemporary)

Children’s Parent Meetings
Executive Pastor Chris Akers would like to meet with parents using our children’s ministry to have conversation about current experiences and future plans. Come to the meeting that best fits your schedule: Saturday, May 3 – 5:00 pm (M201)
or Sunday, May 4 – 10:30 am or 12 noon (M201).

Texas-themed Farewell for Miss Mary
That’s right, pardner. We’re sending Miss Mary to Texas in style! Bring Texas-sized portions of your favorite Texas food (pulled pork, beans, corn, etc.) to our farewell “roast” of children’s minister Mary Freeman on Wednesday, May 21, at 6 pm in the sanctuary. Love Offering: If you’d like to bless Mary and her family with a gift, special cards will be available at the farewell. Please write her a personal note and enclose your love offering.

Proceeds from the entrance fee will go to the biggest loser (based on percentage of weight lost); sponsor contributions will go to missions. Pick up contest rules and sponsor sheets in the lobby. Call Chris Kavenagh, 407.365.2521, with questions.
