Dear Parents,
We’re excited about UCUMC’s Vacation Bible School for your child!
To register your child we require a complete packet of these three (3) items for EACH child:
Child Registration Form
NOTARIZED Medical Release Form
$20 registration fee (checks made out to University Carillon United Methodist Church)
Registration for your child for VBS will be final when the entire packet is filled out and turned NO LATER THAN SUNDAY, JUNE 10th. No child will be registered without this COMPLETED packet. We will only email you if there is a missing piece or a problem with registration, but a spot will not be reserved until the issue is fully addressed. If you do not receive an email, assume that your child is registered.
One week before VBS, an email will be sent with specific information to all parents of registered children. Check your junk mail!
* Children and youth volunteers must also fill out and notarize the UCUMC consent medical release form to be registered for VBS.
THE CLUBHOUSE ~ PreK - 2nd grade
Saturday Night Children's Classes
During Saturday evening worship services PreK-2nd grade begin in the sanctuary for Praise and Worship with their parents and then are dismissed to rooms M103 or M104 (in the main building). They will be picked up by their parents in the classrooms. If children choose to stay in the sanctuary with their parents, ushers will have activity packs especially for them.
Sunday Morning Children’s Classes
9:00, 10:15 and 11:30 am - This time developed specifically for children PreK - 2nd grade, begins with a Bible story and opening activity in their classroom. Then off to THE CLUBHOUSE for Praise and Worship and a puppet show that illustrates the story. Then end back in the classroom for crafts, games, activities and pick-up.
THE SHACK ~ 3rd, 4th, 5th Grade
Saturday Night Classes
Children’s Ministry classes (for 3–5th grade) will resume as usual and the kids will go to The Shack when dismissed from the service.
Sunday Morning Children’s Classes
9:00, 10:15 and 11:30 am - THE SHACK is a special place designed for kids 3rd - 5th grade. They will learn Bible stories and scripture, do Praise and Worship and participate in games, activities and discussion to help them weave the lessons into their own lives.
Wednesday Night Kidszone
KidsZone - This fun, high-energy ministry encourages kids to know Jesus Christ and grow in a relationship with him through Bible stories, Scripture memorization, life application, missions, recreation…and snack! KidsZone runs every Wednesday night from 6:30–8 pm (preK–2nd grade in The Clubhouse; 3rd–5th grade in The Shack).
Wednesday nights are family nights at UCUMC! Come for dinner at 5:30, followed by classes for all ages. Bring your kids to KidsZone even if you’re not participating in a Wednesday night study.
