Respond locally to help kids from Puerto Rico
Conditions on the island are forcing Puerto Rican families to relocate to Florida in large numbers, giving us an immediate opportunity to respond locally. Please consider a contribution to UCUMC that we will direct to:
(1) The needs of the children who are enrolling at Bonneville Elementary School and/or
(2) The Puerto Rico Relief Team of the Florida Annual Conference that is seeking to meet food and shelter needs of persons being taken in by local families (who, in many cases, lack sufficient resources).
Please mark your contribution “PR Local.” under Other.

Christmas in the City

December 16, 2017

Join with HOPE Helps, Inc. and many area churches and agencies to make Christmas better for hundreds of Seminole County families.

Here’s how you can help:

The HOPE Tree
Take a tag off the HOPE tree in the front lobby and help gather items for Christmas in the City—the event run by HOPE Helps and hosted here at UCUMC that, over the past 10 years, has provided meals, clothing and Christmas gifts for hundreds of families in our community. We’re collecting toys, Wal-Mart and Target gift cards (for older children), and socks/underwear. Please bring items to the church by December 11.

Christmas in the City (hosted by UCUMC)
Over the past 8 years, CitC has served more than 10,000 individuals. Volunteers are needed for the day of the event for everything from set-up to acting as family guides, prayers, servers and more. Signup at
